Master in Creation of Video Games
In the first section in common, participants will learn the basic principles for the creation of video games, which can later be used to create projects with sound methodology. This subject will be essential for both programmers and designers or artists.
In the second section, participants must specialise in the roles of programmers or artists to receive specific training in their field of action: the creation of the code of a video game or the design and preparation of the contents (graphics, sound, etc.)
Finally, a third section enables participants to develop a project of average complexity in groups consisting of people with the two profiles. In this way they can put into practice what they have learnt, in a team structure similar to that which occurs in industry. During this period the participant will receive the ongoing support of assistant monitors and lecturers.
Face-to-face masters programs, postgraduate courses and short courses at UPF Barcelona School of Management combine active student participation with the teaching of theoretical and practical concepts. This type of learning focuses on discussing and resolving case studies in the classroom and applying the knowledge acquired to real-life situations. Face-to face programs use Aula Global, the virtual campus, to maintain continuity between classroom sessions.
