Xavier Freixas Dargallo

Academic Director

Xavier Freixas Dargallo is a Doctor in Economics from the University of Toulouse. He is Academic Director and professor of the Master's Degree in Finance and Banking and the Postgraduate Degree in Digital Banking and Big Data at the UPF Barcelona School of Management.

He is a Professor of the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra of which he has been Director of the Department of Economy and Business, and member of the Academy of Europe, section Economics Business and Management Sciences. His research areas are banking, banking regulation, systemic risk and financial contagion.
