Jorge Carrión Gálvez is a part-time lecturer at the UPF Barcelona School of Management and co-director of the Master in Literary Creation. Previously, he was professor of Spanish at the University of Chicago, associate professor of Spanish language and literature in the Department of Humanities at UPF, visiting professor at the Faculty of Communication at the University of Los Andes (Colombia) and professor of the Master in Journalism Specializing in Culture at UPF-BSM.

He holds a PhD in Humanities with a thesis on comparative literature on contemporary travel, and he has specialized in travel literature, non-fiction narratives, television seriality and virality...
