The postgraduate directed by Sergi Jordà participates at the Phonos Concert Programme

On September 27, the final projects of the Postgraduate Course in Music Production Technology and Technique were presented on the behalf of the Phonos Concerts Programme, an initiative of the Music Technology Group at Pompeu Fabra University in collaboration with Phonos Foundation.

The students of the postgraduate course in Design of Interactive Music Systems show their final projects: new tools designed and built for themselves that allow interactive music experiences. During the presentation there will be performances using musical interactive tabletops.

The programme focuses on the design of new systems for creating live musical with digital devices. This course is pioneer in this field. It is directed by Sergi Jordà, researcher in the Music Technology Group and creator of the Reactable, an electronic musical instrument based on a tangible interface that turns music into a tangible and visual experience.
