The Master’s in Making Documentaries on Canal 33

On 18 June the Canal 33 programme Ànima will show a feature dedicated to the Master’s in Making Documentaries, explaining how it works and showing the different activities the course offers, with a particular focus on the module taught by Victor Kossakovsky.

Throughout the academic year Kossakovsky has worked side-by-side with Master’s students on the production of the feature-length documentary, STRIKE.

The film-maker conveyed his vision through a series of exercises he set the Master’s students. The subsequent reflections on documentary film were combined with a practical approach that eventually led to producing a documentary together as a group, under Kossakovsky’s guidance.

For more information about the film-maker you can see the autobiography he wrote for the online magazine Blogs & Docs.
