MACBA to host the Movistar-LiveSoundtracks Festival on 24 and 25 April
The Movistar-LiveSoundtracks Festival, brainchild of Anna Mastrolitto and Julia González, students from the Postgraduate Course in Global Music Business Management at UPF-IDEC, will be held on 24 and 25 April at Barcelona's Els Àngels Convent (MACBA). After winning the most recent edition of the Artsy-Movistar Competition, which promotes the creation of festivals and cultural initiatives in Catalonia, the Festival has received support from Movistar. LiveSoundtracks is an interdisciplinary festival revolving around film and live music. Here the musicians choose their favourite films, compose an original soundtrack and play it live, an innovative format that takes a different approach to film, as its creators explained.
