Vladimir de Semir, re-elected as member of the Scientific Committee of the PCST International Network

Worldwide network Public Communication of Science & Technology(PCST) held its 13th International Conference in Salvador de Bahía (Brazil) in which over 500 representatives from all over the world were present, among them, the deputy director of the OCC, Gemma Revuelta, who took part in five round table discussions and presented the results of the European project PLACES.

The network chose its new scientific committee, made up of representatives from the five continents, 8 of which are European. Vladimir de Semir, Academic Director on the Master in Scientific Communication at IDEC-UPF director and founder of the Science Communication Observatory (1994-2014), has been re-elected for another two year term and is the only Spanish representative.

The next PCST network international conferences will be held in 2016 in Istanbul (Turkey) and in 2018 in Dunedin (New Zealand).
