Inauguration of the VI Postgraduate programme in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication
The 18 April last saw the inauguration of the VI Postgraduate programme in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication, co-organised by IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Argentina, Todo Noticias (TN) and the Leloir Institute Foundation (FIL), with the support of the Novartis laboratory, the collaboration of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation (MINCyT) and of ETER Communication School, which includes the participation of students from different regions of the country, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay.
The event was held in the Headquarters of IDEC-UPF in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and began with some words of welcome from Daniel Vitali, IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra’s Delegate in the country. The Opening Round Table included the participation of Vladimir de Semir - Director of the Postgraduate course -, Victoria Mendizábal - Academic Coordinator -, Alejandro Schinder - Chairman of the Board of the Leloir Foundation - and Guillermo Lobo – Journalist and Lecturer on the Postgraduate course -, who shared their experiences and expectations for this sixth edition with the students.
Students, lecturers and authorities then closed the event, which was followed by the class “The Medical, Scientific and Environmental news item” by the lecturer Vladimir de Semir, thus beginning this new cycle of the Postgraduate course.
