IDEC joins the PRME initiative

This year IDEC has joined the initiative known as PRME (Principles for Responsible Management Education), recommended by institutions such as the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), an organisation to which IDEC belongs.

In support of this initiative the general director of IDEC, Pau Verrié, took part in the 1st Global Forum for Responsible Management Education which took place in the United Nations in New York on 4th and 5th December. The UN general secretary Ban Ki-Moon, took part in the closing ceremony of the event, which served to share experiences on this project and on how business schools are adopting these principles.

The PRME aim to establish a process of continuing improvement between business schools in order to develop a new generation of business leaders who are capable of dealing with the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century. The institutions which form part of the PRME are committed to apply these principles to programmes which they teach and to draw up an annual report which reflects the activities carried out on this respect.
