Graduation of the 2011-2012 cohort in the Auditori

The Barcelona School of Management and IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra held the academic graduation ceremony for the 2011-2012 cohort on 26 November last in the Barcelona Auditori. The ceremony was presided over by the Rector of the Pompeu Fabra University and President of the Continuing Education Institute Foundation, Josep Joan Moreso, accompanied on the presidential table by the President of the UPF Board of Trustees, Núria Basi; the Vice-President and Commissioner for the Continuing Education Institute Foundation, Jaume Casals; the Director General of the Continuing Education Institute Foundation, Carme Martinell; Vice-Rector for Economy, Information Resources and Institutional Relations of the UPF, Daniel Serra; the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the UPF, Olga Valverde; the Dean of the Barcelona School of Management, Ana Valenzuela; and the President of the Alumni Association, Aleix Canals.

Almost 700 participants who passed one of the master’s degrees or postgraduates of the Barcelona School of Management or of IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra during the 2011-2012 academic year were present at the ceremony. The attendees of the ceremony, many of them accompanied by relatives and friends, were able to hear the lecture “Compromís inacabat” (Unfinished commitment), by Mònica Terribas, Tenured Lecturer of the UPF, Journalist and Editor of the newspaper Ara.

The graduation ceremony was presented by Laura Marshall and Héctor Aguilar, students from the Postgraduate programme in Radio and TV Announcing who followed the script prepared by four students from the Postgraduate programme in Television Script Writing for Entertainment and Comedy Programmes, taught jointly with El Terrat, David Arnau, José Cabezas, Inma Garrido and Sergi Moral.
