FC Barcelona Hires Daniel Vitali as Their Representative in Argentina

Football Club Barcelona (FCB) has begun a football base development project in Argentina. Daniel Vitali, President of the Alumni Association and Representative of UPF in Argentina has been chosen by Barça to be Director General of the project and their representative in Argentina.

Daniel Vitali is an economist and has a Master?s Degree in Health Economics and Healthcare Management from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Currently he is Associate Director General of the Ignacio Pirovano Hospital of Buenos Aires and lectures at the Universidad de La Plata (Argentina) and at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Since 2003 he is the president of the IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra Alumni Association of Argentina and secretary for the Advisory Counsel of Argentina, in which companies working with the Universitat Pompeu Fabra participate.

This nomination is in addition to the past collaboration of Barça and UPF professors Xavier Sala-Martin and Carles Murillo as president and secretary of the statutory economic commission.
