Debate: “Women and Journalism. Because international journalism isn’t just for men.”

Journalists Celia Cernadas (Catalunya Radio), Cristina Mas (daily newspaper “Ara”), Isabel Galí and Sílvia Heras (TV3), four role models in the field of international news, will participate as speakers in the debate “Women and Journalism, because international journalism isn’t just for men”, that will take place on 10 June at the auditorium at UPF-IDEC, in Barcelona. 

The event is being organized by the eight members of the blog “Goldman Sachs is not an Aftershave”, alumni from Pompeu Fabra University’s Master in Journalism specializing in International Politics, with the collaboration of the Master’s director. The editors of this blog about international politics which won the 20 Blog Awards of the 20 Minutos newspaper as Best Blog of the Year, will make the official presentation of their project in Barcelona and will moderate the debate accompanied by lecturer Christofer Tulloch.

The four speakers, with a long background in different media, will offer their wealth of experience in the field of international journalism and will reflect on the situation currently surrounding this profession, focusing on women working in this field. A session for questions and answers among those present will follow the debate.
