Collaboration agreement with the Group Clarín
On 30th April a collaboration agreement was signed with the Grupo Clarín for the organisation in Argentina of a Postgraduate Programme in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication. The signing was attended by Josep Joan Moreso, Rector of Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Martín G. Etchevers, external communications manager for the group, and Carlos de Elía, news manager for Arte Radiotelevisivo Argentina S.A.
The Masterin Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication has been taught at IDEC for the last thirteen years with direction by Vladimir de Semir and co-ordination by Gemma Revuelta, both directors of UPF?s OOC (Scientific Communication Observatory). The aim of the programme is to train professionals to provide the keys to teach scientific knowledge to society through different media channels.
As from next June, a special edition of the Postgraduate Programme in Scientific, Medical and Environmental Communication for Argentina will be taught in Buenos Aires. This will be organised by the Fundación Instituto Leloir and Todo Noticias (Grupo Clarín) and sponsored by Novartis. The postgraduate will count on academic direction by the OCC, co-ordination by Claudia Mazzeo from the Fundación Instituto Leloir and the participation of accredited Latin American professionals, who will teach an adapted edition for the Argentinean media.
