Neus Ballús, to support UPF-IDEC’s class of 2014

Pompeu Fabra University’s own business school, UPF-IDEC is to celebrate its graduation ceremony for the class of 2014 for its masters and postgraduate courses, this year on 7 July from 7pm onwards at the Ciutadella campus. All of this year’s masters and postgraduate students are invited to the event, to participate in an official ceremony in recognition of the commendable students who have passed their program’s academic requirements and achieved the academic qualification awarded by our institution.

Academic authorities will be present at the event, to be conducted by the Rector, Jaume Casals, who has invited director Neus Ballús along to act as this year’s patron and who will be giving the graduation speech.

Neus Ballús will be supporting UPF-IDEC’s class of 2014.  Neus Ballús is a film director and scriptwriter and audiovisual producer. She graduated in Audiovisual Communication and at UPF-IDEC completed her Master in Creative Documentary, to which she continues to be strongly connected. Her first film, La Plaga, has been awarded renowned prizes at film festivals and national and international entities, among others, the Goya and Gaudí Awards.

The graduation is sponsored by RACC, and during the gala, the students, accompanied by their friends and family, will receive their commemorative diplomas at a ceremony that will be both academic and festive, ending with celebratory cocktails on the patio at the Ciutadella campus.
