ADVANCED CONCEPTS OF PUBLIC MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION: EXPERIENCES AND CASE STUDIES
This module corresponds to the on-site sessions. The content of these sessions includes: the critical review of the Governance models analysed and the generation of debate on their applicability in the Latin American environment, visits to political administrative institutions of different levels of governance and Public-Private sector partnerships, and personalized tutoring for students. The subjects developed will be related with the content worked on in the different subjects and will take place during morning and afternoon sessions on-site at the University, as well as on the premises of different institutions visited during the trip to Barcelona.
Definition and object of study. Description and diagnosis of the public policy chosen and its institutional framework. Specific proposals of action. Implementation of proposals for change. Conclusions and recap.
Once students have completed the programme, they will receive the degree Máster Universitario en Gobierno y Gestión Pública en América Latina from Pompeu Fabra University and the Ministry of Education.
Official Master's Degree: Upon successfully completing the master's program you will receive a final diploma awarded by Pompeu Fabra University. In order to issue the certificate, the Government of Catalonia charges an additional fee of approximately €200. The exact amount varies annually and will be finalized upon completion of the degree. In accordance with the regulations set out by the Spanish Ministry of Education this final diploma will be issued in Spanish.
