The Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) of the Generalitat de Catalunya has recognized the 14 researchers of the UPF Barcelona School of Management that form the ISDaLab (Innovation and Sustainability Data Lab) as an Emerging Research Group.

Social enterprises have to overcome up to three different types of barriers in order to secure funding: at the individual, organizational and industry levels. Ramon Bastida, Vice Dean for Knowledge Transfer and researcher at International Chair in Sustainable Finance, explains it. 

The aim of the agreement is to undertake activities in the near future on teaching, research, and/or cultural activities; the exchange of graduate students under various schemes; organizing and participating in international weeks for graduate students at both institutions; among others.

The fourth Student Project Awards recognized the 21 best master's degree and postgraduate projects, awarding upon 34 students of the 2022 graduation

The ranking includes 16 UPF-BSM master’s degrees this year, two more than in previous years. Of these, four are among the Top 50 in the world in their category, and two among the Top 100

The UPF Barcelona School of Management has participated in the category of «Best Business School Partnership», one of ten categories awarded by the AMBA Association, which recognises organisations that have taken a proactive approach to their strategic partnerships.

Directed by Sílvia Cóppulo, the Chair will work on a new model of a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable relationship between people, companies and the territory of the Penedès. 

This is a pioneering study, as there had been no other report that had assessed the impact of the consultancy sector in Catalonia before. It points out that the sector has 4,586 companies and it is calculated that the productivity in the territory is 72,056 per worker per year.

During the second session of «Leaders at UPF-BSM», Manuel Abellán, Industry Executive Higher Education at Microsoft Spain, explained to the students the current situation of the company, its commitment to innovation in higher education and explained his keys to leadership.

For four days, the UPF-BSM offered its students and alumni the opportunity to connect with companies from different sectors to find professional careers and, at the same time, to offer participating firms the talent trained at the school.

The international ranking has renewed the four "palms of excellence" of the UPF Barcelona School of Management and reaffirms it as a "Top Business School with Significant International Influence". 

During the session, students will address visitors with a talk to convey their vision of the works that have most captured their attention.
