Training for new professionals
The emergence of e-government is necessary in order to take advantage of the new forms of technology applied to the world of public management and to make sure the new system is an improvement in terms of productivity and that it involves citizens in public affairs. This organ should offer the widest possible knowledge regarding available technological alternatives, past experiences and also political, economic and socials factors of the setting in which it develops its activity. This is the vision offered by the IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra postgraduate course, which aims to help participants to acquire the knowledge and skills to help them analyse, decide, apply and optimise initiatives in the subject of e-government for the improvement of the government and public management.
