Ferran Adrià speaks of innovation and creativity in the UPF

Telefónica, with the collaboration of the Pompeu Fabra University, invites the Barcelona School of Management and IDEC community to participate in the lecture that Ferran Adrià will give on Tuesday 19 February, at 12 noon, in the auditorium of the Ciutadella Campus (Ramon Trias Fargas, 25-27, 08005 Barcelona).

In the lecture that he is going to deliver in the UPF on creativity and innovation, Adrià will explain his experience in the restaurant elBulli, considered for five years as the best in the world, and he will share some of his new projects, such as elBullifoundation and Bullipedia, with the students.

The lecture, by the man who was recognized as the best chef in the world, forms part of the “Innovation and Talent” tour, an initiative which will visit fifteen Spanish universities in six autonomous communities: Madrid, Catalonia, Castile and León, Extremadura, Andalusia and the Canary Islands.

The aim of the tour is to transmit to young people the idea that universities contain the talent that will lead transformation and innovation in the future and, at the same time, to encourage them to be enterprising and innovative, providing success stories or examples of countries which have invested in innovation and have become benchmarks.

Entry to the lecture is free but, as the capacity is limited, it is essential to confirm attendance at actes.institucionals@upf.edu
