The 6 October saw the opening ceremony of the 11 th Master in Property, Urban Planning and Construction Law , with the talks La dación en pago y sus alternativas (Non-recourse Debt and its Alternatives) and La política del suelo en España (Land Policy in Spain).
Dr Juan María Díaz Fraile, a lawyer attached to the Directorate General for Registries and Notaries (Land Register), gave a talk entitled La dación en pago y sus alternativas (Non-recourse Debt and its Alternatives) , chaired by Josep Maria Vilajosana, Dean of the Law Faculty at Pompeu Fabra University.

More than 60 students and alumni of the Master attended the event, in addition to professionals from the sector.
The Master in Property, Urban Planning and Construction Law (LL.M) provides students with legal training that includes basic technical knowledge of construction. The programme is the first of its kind in Spain to take an interdisciplinary approach covering all areas related to the development process, from land transformation to problems faced during construction. The programme combines theory with practical training given by the country's leading specialists.
The Course Director is Dr Josep Santdiumenge, Full Lecturer of Civil Law at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and Doctor of Law from UPF. He has also received a Magister Legum from the University of Kiel (Germany) and a Master of Laws from Yale University (USA).
