PepsiCo Iberia’s Marketing Director gives a talk to the MSc in International Business students

Last Monday the students of this year’s class of the MSc in International Business —offered jointly between the UPF Barcelona School of Management and ESCI— had the unique opportunity of attending a talk by PepsiCo Iberia’s Marketing Director, Ms. Mireia Casadella. PepsiCo Iberia is the local merger of two of the world’s international largest bottlers: The Pepsi Bottling Group (PBG) and Pepsi Americas (PAS). Its history in Spain dates back to the early 50s. 

On her lecture, Ms. Casadella presented some of the company’s most paradigmatic international marketing cases in order to give our International Business students a deeper insight on PepsiCo’s marketing strategies. During her speech, she went about Pepsi’s brand value, the company’s new communication and advertising trends, today’s difficulties of international sales and the globalisation of brands and products. She also introduced some of PepsiCo’s newest marketing initiatives.

PepsiCo Iberia, world leader in international marketing, is one of the companies where the students of the MSc in International Business are currently doing their internships.
